Today we read Luke 20. Here Jesus is under fire with the religious leaders out to get him. They come at him with question after question all designed to trick him.
So often in our journey we can get caught up with the complex and tricky questions rather than the basic life changing ones.
As we continue through advent it is the time to remember that God was sending the light to the world. That God was coming as a baby. When I read the gospels I am convinced that Jesus knew who he was. The questions of the religious leaders could only be answered in the truth of Christmas, that Jesus is the Son of God!
This advent try to stick to the simple and true story. That Jesus was the son of God and that he came to restore a relationship with you.
What an amazing concept and one that is so easy to live in because the baby laying in a manger on the first Christmas was the creator of the world made man, come because of Love!
