So Luke 14 could be the party verse of the bible. Jesus is at this party and then that party. He then goes on to speak of God's kingdom as a party. Now that sounds good better than good streets and crystal seas.
So this advent we may feel like Jesus attending one party or function after another. Son I wonder could we take the fold up camping chair at the low card table and let others sit at the table proper? Does our humility actually allow us to do this in the real events of the next 11 days.
Imagine the different dynamics if we were to actually display this type of humility!
