Well Christmas is here (for us Aussies at least) the presents are given the food is a bounty! I pray that Christmas is a great time, don't be afraid to celebrate, yes it is a holy time but it is a time that we have an integral part in! So celebrate!
However, be sure to celebrate the right things! It is not about getting but rather about giving (hard to teach the kids this, hard to live out too!)
The challenge to keep Christmas about Christ is also an equal challenge to live in the light of the Christmas tree for the whole year, not that we keep the decorations up and sing silent night all year! Jesus did not stay silent! But we must live in the truth of the incarnate Christ all year!
So merry Christmas, celebrate well and the wake up and live well!
