Mr Driscoll introduced these points asserting that, if we are seeing no fruit from our ministry, rather than doing more, we have to ask what we are doing wrong. He also asserted that “pruning†must precede “harvestingâ€. This pruning could involve such things as people and programs.
Most churches I know do not have the courage to cut programs and do any pruning, most also don't have the courage to admit that they could possible be doing anything wrong! We really do need to allow god to search us and then be able to listen to his voice.
