Scripture Reading 2:1-16
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" Vs 9
Observation
We live in a wonderful world! Just stop some time and look! It is vast and impressive. I recently had the pleasure of hanging out at a friend’s property, it was awesome. We swam and canoed, sat and played. Just in this small oasis out towards Drouin there were ducks swimming, fish jumping, and dragon flies of at least three different colours, warm sun cool water, great friends and a platypus to complete this idealistic picture! We live in an awesome world. All this though is nothing compared to what is to come. We have not seen what is prepared for those who love Christ. Jesus himself said “I go to prepare a place for you†John 14:3 what must this place be like. It is this reality that exists those who know Christ live with promise of things not yet even conceived, whilst those who do not know him, live without hope. We can live our lives in both the great beauty of this world and the awesome hope of what is to come?
Application
Do you take time to enjoy the wonder and awe of what God has created? What is the greatest that God could give you? Remember he wants to give you greater than mind has conceived!
Prayer
Creator God, maker of all things, we give thanks for your deep love and awesome blessings. We thank you for the amazing creation, the vast opportunities to experience this world and for that which is to come for us from you endless grace and love.
