Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for you to remain as you are.

Observation

As I wrote last, Paul deeply believed that Christ was about to return! It was not a distant hope it was an immediate one! This belief had a very big impact on how Paul thought. So in this section he is addressing the question of sexual relationships and marriage, it’s this belief of Paul that is the crux of the response. What Paul says is stay focused! if you are not married, but engaged, end can stay pure stay that way. If not marry. If you are married stay that way. For Paul all that really matters is that we stay focused on Christ and His return. It is not Paul’s view on all marriages and that marriages should be rushed into, rather that in light of Christ's return as soon as tomorrow, Keep free from Sin and ready.

Christ the Saviour of all we live in the grace and love that comes from your sacrifice for us, we hope in your return. May you find us in your fields at work for your kingdom.
