I have to say that wearing glasses is not my favorite thing in the world! Waking up and not being able to read the clock, trying to find a safe place to store my glasses at the beach, having the kids jump on you and head butt you right in the glasses pushing the nose piece right into your, well nose and driving without sunglasses, are all things that drive me nuts!
So contacts are the way to go! They are not great for all circumstances but they are excellent for sport, swimming, working out (like that happens every day, NOT) driving! However, they are also expensive. Here is where the Internet comes into play again to help save us money.
I have always purchased my lenses from OPSM for not other reason than loyalty! Well no more. I just made a purchase from Eyes on Line, they were cheaper for the same product. They were pleasant to deal with via email and they were faster than OPSM!
So if you purchase contacts then give Eyes on line a go! Well worth the extra $$ in your account!
