I have always been a fan of technology. It is cool to have gadgets to play with use as tools in life! However, I read recently this post from Jesus Creed about the use of Power Point. So the question is should we use it or not!
I have always liked the idea of Power Point but wonder now if it is has been my Techno excitement and the desire to use it that has encouraged me. So should we use it? I will still use it to write my sermons on, as I like it as a way to construct a message. But is there a good use for it in a sermon. (I take it as a given that putting words up for songs is a good use, if you don't have Presenter or the like) Good bullet points can be useful, images that draw people into the point of the message can also be valuable in getting people to engage emotionally. So I will continue to think about its use and have a play with some of the best ways to use it. Feel free to comment.
I guess the answer is, we should use whatever makes the message presentation better and more simple to understand.
