There is a web site for everything. I stumbled across this site today and tried out the Surgeon's knot, it is not bad. So it goes to prove that the web has the answer to just about any question you might ask. What is more scary is that out there some place is Ian who has time to create this site on how to tie laces! Wish I had that sort of time on my hands!
The laces work, but I don't think they are any tighter than the trusty 'ol 'loop swoop and pull'....
