The Church and Reality TV

With the proliferation of Reality TV on our screens it seems that just about everything is a target to get the "Reality" workover.  Now I am neither in favour or against reality TV.  Who is to say that a made up story is better than a real one or that total fiction is better than contrived reality of the TV shows.  It is all entertaining and if it entertains you then fine!  If it does not then that is fine too.  but the church has now entered the world of reality TV!  Click Here to see.  In the latest effort create reality TV we have God or the Girl!  Four guys thinking of joining the Preisthood are filmed as they struggle through the very real issues that that type of commitment entails.  Now living in Australia I have not seen it so have no opinion about the quality but hey why should a bunch of drunk young adults in a house have all the publicity and at least these four guys are dealing with a very real issue of how to ballance their lives with their love of the creator of the universe! How to be in the world but not of it! Where will it stop?
