Driving on your own

Now I have to say that the whole in car DVD is an interesting social development. 

Are we so bored with conversations and the world we drive through that we need to watch a movie on the go? 

In the junk mail yesterday at home I saw an even worse development.  The dual DVD that is not that it has two screens but that it has two DVD players!  Have we moved so much now that not only can we not talk to eachother in the car but we can not even watch the same thing on the DVD in the car! 

Boy the days of our family of six pileing into the Kingswood Sedan and heading off with the caravan on the back are long gone!  There is no way we could ever do that any more as there is no way we could get 4 screens in the back of the car.
