The Commonwealth Games

Well here we are just weeks out from the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne Australia.  I have to say it does feel like it is building to be a big blow about not much at all.  Do we really believe that every visitor who is coming is going to hire a car and drive around making it impossible for Melburnians to get around?  From what I hear there no extra planes flying into Melbourne for the games!  So are they all coming via boats? 

Craig over at Craig's Rant has a good rant about his view of the games!  I don't agree that we should give the Queen an Ipod!  The games are not Melbourne's, Victoria's, Australia's or Steve Bracks' they are the Queens games!  So if they are her games play her song!  It would be good if she could stay around for her games but while she is here play the song!

So let the games begin and let's hope tha they are worth all the hype!
