The Start of the Search

We are well aware that one of the greatest risks we face is that we will not settle at a home church and just hop around from one place to another or that will disengage from christian community.  We all need others around us to encourage, challenge and participate through life with.  So today we set out to begin our journy for a new church home.  It was with a sence of excitment and a little sadness as we realised that one chapter of our life had ended and that a new one was begining.  The first stop on this journey was at Berwick Church of Christ.  It was great to sing and celebrate together.  They are about to start a kids holiday program so two of our criteria were well covered off.  The prayer and speaking was excellent, Graham Cann was completing a series on the second comming of Christ and spoke excellently.  We were welcomed well and were spoken to by one of the members.  So the jouney begins, it feels right and I am sure god is with us!  what more can we ask?
