Our Future Our Past

Life has a lot of ups and downs it dishes up good stuff warm summer days, hugs from our kids,  houses to live in, food to eat even the internet that you are using to read this is a luxury that we have that sets  us apart from the majority of the world's population. But, there is also the Stuff that life dishes up that causes much pain (even in the comfort of the western world) cancer, divorce fires, car accidents the loss of a Child. Parent or other loved ones economic pressures job losses and the lists could go on with your personal pain or pleasures. However both our past, present and future pale into the background when we keep Christ in perspective. 1st Thessalonians talks a lot about Christ and his centrality to our lives. In chapter one verse ten it says:
"They marvel at how expectantly you await the arrival of his Son, whom he raised from the dead-Jesus, who rescued us from certain doom." 1st Thessalonians 1:10 (The Message)
Jesus came to save us and he is coming back again to take us to be with him. (John 14: 1-4) Living under this grace and promise is a wonderful place to live. The trick is keeping our perspective right is Christ first? Do we live sure of the price paid for us do we live expectant of his return? I am sure that if we do our attitude and actions will change and change for the better!
Blessings
